hi, I’m ken :-)

Hello friends! Thanks for stopping by! My name is Kendall, my middle name’s Yvonne so that’s how we got our lil biz name over here. Most of my friends & family call me Ken, you can too if you want!

Just so ya know a little bit about me… I studied English & Creative Writing at The University of Arizona and spent some time after college working in commercial real estate and marketing in Colorado Springs, CO. It was there that I really discovered my love for the outdoors and nature, but most of all I realized how much I loved and appreciated my old home in the desert of Arizona. My husband, Alec, and I, moved back in 2017 & that was when I really started pursuing this art thing! I taught for a little bit locally here in Gilbert (still do a couple times a month because I love spreading the joy of art and creativity to others!), but I officially went full time with this lil freelance biz of mine in 2019.

Fast forward to today, I’m now a proud mama of a lil boy and am enjoying the challenge of raising our family while pursuing my dreams. These days when I’m not carrying around a crazy baby or painting for people (a rare occurance!), you can catch me sitting on a patio with some friends and a beer, attempting a new bread recipe, or more likely cozied up with a novel or watching Real Housewives of Beverly Hills with zero shame. Anywho, that’s me for the most part! And I’m glad you’re here! My fam appreciates your love and support, I couldn’t do it without ya <3
